Old, Noisy, Dumpy, and Not Worth the Stay

I selected this hotel based on location and price. The location is OK, near major freeways and convenient to what i needed to do in Toledo, BUT: The hotel itself if not well cared for, and shows it.
The furniture in the room was falling apart, and drain in the bathtub was very slow to drain, and the heating and cooling system was terrible. ( It would get too cold, the system would kick on, making it too hot. This cycle repeated over and over, and no amount of adjusting the controls would fix it. )
The bed was ROCK hard, and the pillows were awful. We woke up with back and neck pain.
In addition, the hotel is near a rail road track and not one, but SEVEN freight trains went by between the hours of 4AM and 8 AM (On a Sunday morning no less.)
Yes, the price per night is low, but there are several other properties near by that, while perhaps costing a bit more, are newer and perhaps better cared for. Look there first.

I liked the experience overall. The room was spacious and clean (since pets are allowed in this hotel, my room had a slight funky smell). More amenities needed such as dish soap, shampoo, and dryer. Hotel should change sheets/towels every 3 days instead of every 7 days as it is now. No-one is at the front desk early morning hours and the front door is locked as well during that time. The location was great with everything you need near you. They charge you $4.99 per stay to access the internet.
