Wonderful King bed w/new mattress

Very nice room and a wonderful bed. New TV nicely appointed room. The Hotel is quiet and handy location. I was surprised that for most of the time, including while I was wanting to check in, NOBODY WAS BEHIND THE FRONT DESK. I walked to the laundry room and got a lady to find the desk clerk. She stays behind a closed door. No bell or buzzer. The breakfast area is very nice and the cont. breakfast is ok.

We were pleasantly surprised by the decor and comfort of our room. The breakfast room was above average and the location was convenient.

This hotel was immaculate. The staff was great and the rooms were well-furnished. I really have never stayed at a hotel where I was so impressed. I didn't have a chance to use some of the extras such as the pool, meeting rooms, or continental breakfast but they looked good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a little more expensive than some of the other hotels in the area, but it's worth it to feel so impressed. I can't think of a bad thing to say about it other than the fact that I don't like to support if I can help it!

I stay at Hampton Inns almost exclusively, on business travel, so my expectations of a Hampton Inn are in line with what the chain is, and I can detect deviations from the standard recipe. The Hampton Inn Rockford exceeded all my expectations. The room was very nice, and obviously was recently renovated. The breakfast area and pool area were very clean and in top shape. They provided a crib for my toddler that was brand new, and a clean sheet. Check-in, check-out, etc. all hassle free and typical from what you see at 99% of Hampton Inns. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were an added plus.

Really nice rooms and helpful staff. Clean lobby and breakfast area, pool area was a little bit disheveled upon my last visit. Would definitely stay here again and again.
