It took forever to find because there is no sign. and I stay in N.O. all the time. There isn't a place to get a drink or watch a game. The room didn't have a hair dryer and it took then 30 minutes to bring one. It cost extra to park. It also under construction. The other Wyndams are fine I thought I was staying at the riverfront one it is alot more pleasant. I will NEVER STAY HERE AGIAN
Loud Street Noise

My husband & I stayed here for our daughter's college graduation. While the location was convenient, the hotel really left something to be desired. We were awakened every night by loud shouting in the street, even though we were at least 5 floors above it. I'm quite sure I heard gunshots nearby one night. Breakfast was included with our rate and might have been good, but the one morning I arrived 2 minutes after it ended looking for some coffee, I was rudely told that breakfast was OVER. The worst part was the parking arrangement. The only parking available was with an offsite valet service that took about 15-20 minutes to retrieve the car. It didn't seem to matter how far in advance we called for the car, we always waited 15-20 minutes once we were on the street. There are far too many good hotel choices in New Orleans to suffer this one again.

This hotel has a mold issue. I am very sensitive to mold, I also remediate mold for a living. The staff tried to accomodate my conserns and showed me to 4 different rooms to check into. I could not stay due to sensitivity symptoms I have learned to recognize. It is a shame that such a beautiful historic hotel has not been remediated for mold properly.

Upon arrival to this hotel the staff was not polite and was not helpful in any way. Our keys didn't work. It took 45 minutes for the hotel to find our car after they parked it for us. Rooms were extremely small. Not what we expected. The food at the restaurant was great!
