The hotel was everything it was said to be. The staff was superior and very helpful with every request. The room was fabulous. Clean and quiet with a great view of the ocean and boardwalk! We will definitely stay here next time we're in San Diego and will recommend to all our firends.

After an initial mix-up with our room reservation, the friendly staff at the Pacific Terrace was very attentive and bent over backwards to please us. We were very impressed with the beautiful rooms and views... we hardly wanted to leave our rooms to enjoy the pool and convenient beach! The continental breakfast every morning was great, as well as afternoon wine bar poolside. We didn't want to leave! We will definitely go back and stay at the Pacific Terrace whenever visiting San Diego or LaJolla.

Terrific location central to all parks. Free continental breakfast is best when you get it "to go' and enjoy the views from your balcony. Be sure to get a 3rd floor surf side room as the views are unbelievable. Serve free cookies and wine every afternoon. We timed our afternoon around that. The Kids loved the cookies and my wife and I appreciated a nice wine after a day at "pick your amusement park here" before heading out to the ocean for some boogeyboarding. The rooms themselves are beautifully done and feature new plasma TV's. For a family with young kids it's unbeatable.

I booked this hotel after reading all the other positive feedback comments. My own experience was similar, overall positive. NIce and clean, friendly and helpfull staff etc. The one negative was getting a room assignment adjacent to the cabana. The hotel walls permitted the sounds from breakfast prep. at 5:30am to penetrate and awaken my family. i would stay there again, but ask for a room on the 3rd floor. very nice Hotel!!
