1st room we were assigned wasn't cleaned... Feces & hair were on toilet lid. Dirt on floor.. BAD Charged $20.00 for internet connection, was told it was very good... When I tried it I had poor connection to no connection at times.. Speed ran from 5.5 to 18 Mbps... When I complained got run around. Contacted Corporate but as with most people corporate didn't respond but passed off to local manager, from who I only received an offer for 1/2 off on my next stay.. Whoopie I never plan to stay again.I paid for something I didn't receive but was never offered any part of my money back.. Seems once hotel gets your money no way you can recover any reguardless of the lack of service you receive...

WATCH OUT FOR CREDIT CARD CHARGES!

I initially stayed at this hotel in February while visiting family and had no real problems. However, when I called to check the availability of rooms in March, a staff member took it upon themselves to retrieve the credit card information from my previous visit and make a reservation for me, even though I did not authorize the reservation or the use of my credit card. When I did not appear on the date--again, I had only called to check availability, not book a room--I was charged for the stay. In the past two months, I have spent a great deal of time trying to work this out with both the property office and Red Roof Inn corporate office with no results. Employees at both the local and corporate levels admitted to me that my information was retrieved from my previous stay, even though I never authorized the use of my credit card. I have no idea if I will ever be able to get my money back, even though I did not stay that evening or even make a reservation. Do not stay here unless you want your credit card information to be at risk.

Don't have what they say

My family stayed at the Red Roof Inn in April of 2008. Right off the bat I was not happy with them. We was assured a baby bed when we made our reservation, I was told at check in we would have one brought to our room in 10 minutes. After almost an hour I went back to the office. I was then told they did not have baby beds. I called the travel agency to find out what the deal was, in return the travel agency called the front desk. They was told they would be bringing me one to give them 30 minutes. I waited and still no bed. I have a child who should not be sleeping with anyone else because of the extensive surgeries she has had on both hips. As for the rest the rooms were clean, the janatorial staff was friendly, and it was close to restaurants, stores, and attractions. Good for the price if you don't need a baby bed. Also a fight broke out in the room next to ours, after I called the front desk they responded quickly. Most staff I encountered was friendly despite the baby bed incident. Another plus is my family pet was welcome and they have an area for them to do their business. We had the kind business suite, and the bed took up most of the room. They could use a little bigger room. Although I was told that the Red Roof Inn chain is in the middle of renovating all their hotels.

A Good Deal for a Low Price

The staff was friendly, but appeared to be still learning how the hotel operated. The only real problem my colleague and I experienced was that our card keys would quickly de-magnetize, forcing us to go to the front desk to gain entrance to our rooms. This occured twice late in the evening and once in the late afternoon. However the staff was unfailingly polite and apologetic. Another slight gripe was that the rooms had laptop work stations, as described, but no microwaves or refrigerators. A refrigerator would have been especially handy because of the long hours I put in during my stay. Overall, the facility was clean and well-maintained, and I would stay there again.

Okay for the money, would not stay again

We stayed at this hotel for one night while going to Graceland. For the money we paid, around $* this wasn't a bad deal. While checking in the staff seemed to not care that I had to wait while she went thru the reservations looking for somebody else's while I was standing there (there was nobody else even there, this could've been done later). The room was clean, the cover on the bed was the ugliest thing you'll ever see. The stay was good, housekeeping woke us up bright and early at 7am wanting to clean the room, we advised them we were checking out and to come back later. The motel wasn't really near Graceland, but we stayed here for the price. What you see is what you get here. It was located near a Walgreen's which we did take advantage of, there was also a McDonald's a stone's throw away. Would not stay again.
