The Only Place For Me in Tampa

I grew up in Tampa, so I know the area very well and this is the only hotel for me in Tampa. This is a family owned independent place and you can tell. You should not expect a 5 star Ritz experience, but you will find good rooms, a great location, a groovy cafe, a very relaxed and comfortable environment and a wonderful, helpful staff. I don't stay anywhere else in Tampa.
Second time even better than the first!

My husband and I stayed here in 2006 with our family and married in Clearwater. It was so wonderful than, I felt for sure we would be dissapointed if we came again. I am happy to report that we stayed last month for our second honeymoon and had just as much fun as the first time. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The housekeeping staff does a great job and privacy is wonderful. We like that there aren't any kids around:)
Can't wait to stay here again one day!

I was very very pleased with my stay at the tahitian inn and spa. Wonderful staff. Dining is wonderful atmosphere as well and great food. We didnt want to leave so soon. Everything was perfect.
Misrepresented "Hotel"

Our room had bugs, the bathroom is outdated, the fridge was frozen, no cable tv, noisy, no balconies, etc... This is a motel not a hotel. When we called the front desk to tell them about our room, the man said they were full & there wasn't anything he could do. Do not stay here!! There are rennovations going on there that aren't mentioned until you realize it once you are there. The place was also very dirty and needs to at least be powerwashed!
Very Poor Service and room not sufficiently equipped

When cking in the manager on duty was more concerned with a wedding party than with regular guests. The room had only 3 towels and WE were required to obtain after asking for some to be brought to our room. No batteries in remote for Tv, no clock in room, no poolside bar service as advertised throughout the hotel...we had to go into the restaurant ourselves, again facing the importance of the wedding party going on.....we waited over 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. Beds were very uncomfortable and room was very musty smelling upon entering. When cking out we completed survey and asked that the owner/manager call us and of course we have not been contacted. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL
