The furniture was in poor condition and one of the lamps was broken. Some of the wallpaper was peeling and the hotel staff of one was generally indifferent to my concerns. My actual check-in date was Friday, January 25 with a January 26 check-out. I didn't stay the evening for I was so disappointed by the quality of the room.
STAINED BEDS, HORRIBLE SMELL, RUDE STAFF, BROWN WATER!!

When I asked to speak with the manager, I was met with X. In my opinion, she was RUDE, CONDESCENDING and FLIPPANT. My complaint was regarding the multiple BROWN STAINS on the BEDS and the HORRIBLE ODOR in the room. I was told that I could leave, but, I would be charged for 1 night...with a take it or leave it attitude. I asked X if she had been trained to be so RUDE. She responded, "Yes!" In an attempt to help her understand my complaints, I asked her to take a look at the room. She refused, turned away, walked into the back office and closed the door. I CANCELED the rest of my RESERVATION and will NEVER RETURN to or recommend this or any RODEWAY INN. BE AWARE!!! The WATER is always BROWN!
OK but expensive

I was here during the prime fall season so rate was high. Room was clean but smelled like smoke. I think we got a smoking room by mistake. AC was noisey but location is quite. We had the very back end room and slept well here. With refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was too crowded and spartan. Go out to eat. Desk manager would not give a printed receipt.

Mountain View, Lake View...not. Cemetery View....yes. I'm surprised at an on-line site for not listing this important information. Good night sleep....not. Lumpy old springy beds, noisy AC, smoke alarms that go off at 1 AM while smoking brings fire dept and all guests forced to evacuate rooms and wait out in the cold night air...yes. Tasty breakfast...not. Coffee and donuts...yes. Great entertainment across the street...not. Adult topless dancing...yes. Why would "Choice Hotels International" allow this Rodeway Inn And Suites to be part of their hotel chain.
