Everything and everyone exhibited true southern charm and hospitality.
the facility is charming and very clean. And parking is typical for any city hotel in a central location.

I go to Savannah strictly to stay in this hotel. The staff is so friendly. I believe the manager name is X, he brought a tray of coffee out to the pool for my girlfriends and I. I wouldnt stay anywhere else. Also, if you go in the summer, you will lucky to catch the fireworks over the pool. Tip: you can see them from the jacuzzi.
Enjoyable but noisy

Enjoyable place. Our room was along Bay St. and there was street noise all nite, so if that would be a problem for you be sure to ask for a room in another part of the hotel.

We felt like the front desk person was doing us a service to welcome us. Had to park across the street from the hotel and carry our own luggage from the second floor parking to the hotel to the to the third floor room both upon arriving and leaving. At "Tea time" it was a guess as to where things were located. At night the noise from the street kept us awake a third of the night big trucks rolling past all night long, but least no noise from the hallway from other quests. The restaurant was closed for breakfast and lunch and on Sunday no alcoholic beverages unless you ate. Our whole experience at the hotel was very much a disappointment after reading the reviews prior to planing our trip. We found our places just as nice or nicer for a lot less money for our next trip to Savannah. And by the way they wanted to charge us for parking. You will not see us at the Mulberry for "Tea time" any time soon.

We were in Savannah and stayed at the Mulberry Inn on Sept 18 & 19, 2008 and what a pleasant stay. The staff was extremely nice upon check-in. Accomodated us in every way. The bell hop was as friendly and helpful. The rooms were large as well as a nice clean bathroom. The tea in the afternoon was a delight as well as just sitting in the living room in the evenings. The courtyard was very relaxing. Beautiful setting and a beautiful place to stay. Very safe atmosphere. Convenience to everything. The breakfast we had in the restaurant was very good. The staff again was great. I definetly would go again and stay there and would recommind it to anyone. The only thing which I learned from a previous review is you need to join Holliday Priorty club so you can get your parking of $12.00 a day waived which we did.
