Room was very dirty. In the morning I wore socks to take a shower. They should be ashamed. They wrote and said they would refund the entire room but never got it and going on four weeks.

Dirty Bathroom, lousy staff, worse restaurant!!

We stay at this hotel every year for a convention. The first couple of years, we couldn't have been happier, but not this year! The room is large - a two room suite with a dorm-size fridge and microwave. The bathroom was dirty and moldy. The tile and tub were covered in soap scum. While I was in the tub, I glanced over at the toilet, and saw that the bowl was black under the rim!! YUCK! The front desk staff insisted that there was a guest laundry facility on the second floor. We walked the entire 2nd floor twice before finding out that the laundry room is actually on the third floor. During our stay, our electronic room key cards stopped working. The front desk staff was rude and insisted that we must have had the key in proximity to our cell phone. They replaced the keys without checking ID. Several other attendees had the same experience. On the first day of the convention, as I walked through the hall, I noticed a group who had just checked in, and entered their room, only to find that it was already occupied! The lax security made me feel concerned about leaving my laptop in the room. I didn't feel very safe here. The meeting areas were okay - the rooms were a little on the small side. The biggest complaint is that there are no trash cans anywhere!! The restaraunt was awful. The hotel marquee advertises "Free hot buffet incluced in all room rates", but they were charging $5 for breakfast. Paid up front, prior to seating. The food was fair, the bananas were brown, and the glasses were dirty and greasy. Cracker Barrel is down the street - great breakfast!

Carpet was disgusting

When we arrived, the front desk clerk was no where to be found and the bar tender wasn't much help. The room looked great when we arrived....the bed was great. After we had been walking around for a while in white socks or bare feet they were black. It seemed like the carpet had never been cleaned. Then I noticed holes in the sheets (not a huge deal) but it was rated as a 3-star hotel. We also noticed that the detail cleaning just wasn't there.....when you opened the closet and looked in the down in the door track it was disgusting and we found some kind of pill in there. We traveled with a toddler......we found that very careless. I could go on and on but I think you get the point. The room service was good.

Safe location, great room, and very clean. Front desk staff short and sometimes rude. Room phone did not work for local calls. We are going to stay there again and called the hotel; front desk staff still rude over the phone.
