I don't know when this people stayed there but I stayed in this hotel in 2002 and let me tell you that it's very fun, the pool is very nice despite the fact that there's quite a lot of people and it's only 6 feet. The side bar is great too. The Jacuzzi is very relaxing and what is best about it is that the beach is just a few steps away! The service is also great and the hotel is situated in a place where you have everything around from stores to a Chinese restaurant which is not too far away. Another thing, you would love is the jet skies...I was very small and was scared but it looked very fun. The hotel also looked very nice back then, nothing about paint peeling off the walls. When I went we rented 5 suites and all of them were very nice and well put together, 4 of those having one bedroom of two beds, a big bathroom, a big living room and a kitchen. The other suite had what those did with the exception of one extra bathroom in the living room and the good thing, they all had a beach view. But if you're going in the summer buy a very good sunscreen!

It was so nice for us to get away from everything and just relax on the florida beaches! We were a little nervous at first about the hotel because of some of the comments we had read about the appearence, but if chipped paint on the railing's is what makes/breaks your trip then i wouldn't go...otherwise the hotel and our room were all very beautiful. Make sure to eat at Konrad's and Arturo's (?)

Overall our stay was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to someone traveling on a budget; however they are tearing the hotel down and building a Marriott timeshare (according to the bartender and receptionist).
Fair for the location and price

When we checked in our room, it had standing water on the floor of the bathroom and the carpet in the room was wet. It also smelled sour.I called the desk, it took them an hour to decide what to do with us. They changed rooms to a suite, which was ok. But, the beds were two double beds (sleep number). My husband and I could not sleep together due to the box framed bed. It was designed for one person.

The rooms were nice. Hotel staff were courteous. The restaurants could have better for you, food. The drink prices were outrageous!
