Excellent location

We happend to get a corner room. so we had 2 balconies... Location is great...Bed w/6 pillows was wonderful... Room was good. There was a Walgreens close so we could go buy water etc to put into fridge which cut down on the cost .. My husband actually enjoyed the whole week, and he usually gets bored by the end of the week. The pool is a great place to go, but the ocean is only 4 extra steps and is great. My only complaint was that the air conditioner was right beside the bed and blew cold air on the bed - solution... stack your luggage in front of it with couch cushions ontop and get the air to flow over the bed....We did get room service for our 20th wedding anniversary - and I was very disappointed in the room service .

I only stayed there for one night but for the price I paid it was not worth it. I had to drive in circles for 15 min every time I wanted to find a parking spot. The remote didn't work for the TV, All the staff at the front desk were rude. It smelled musty all the time. They forgot to add my AAA discount at the time of check in and I didn't realize it until the next day, when I inquired about it I was told it was too late. There was absolutely no sincerety and I felt like I didn't get the "bang for the buck". Would not stay there again!!
Great Hotel

This is a very nice hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Easy access to the beach. Great hot breakfast buffet. In walking distance to lots of stores and clubs. Overall great place to stay. The only downfall I had with the hotel was you had to pay to use the computer and they only have one elevator for 11 floors so you had to wait a little while to catch the elevator. Like I said overall a wonderful place to stay.
Disgusting

Arrived in the early morning tired and frustrated from delayed flights, only to go up to our room and find bugs everywhere. On the bed, the wall, it was disgusting. We went back down to inform them and then were put in a room that already had an occupant! Horrible experience.
Daytona Beach Plaza Resort and Spa

We were very happy with the hotel accomodations. Our room was ready when we arrived, clean and welcoming. All of the staff were courtious and helpful. The housekeeping staff was excellent. The only thing we were not happy with in our room was the size of the bathroom, no room at all for getting ready. Access to the beach, and ocean view were beautiful! We enjoyed our stay at the Plaza and hope to return for our next trip to Florida.
