Description: My information is a little dated because my husband and I stayed here on our wedding night 5 years ago and the resort was very new at the time. It is set up in a square courtyard-style format, where all (or almost all) rooms have a view of the two outdoor pools and spa tubs - this is a very pretty and romantic view at night when it is lit up. Rooms come with two queen-size beds or one king-size or queen-size bed. The single king/queen rooms come with complimentary high-speed Internet access, a tub with jets, a large-screen TV and VCR in the bedroom, and cable TV in living area. The living area has a sofa, chair, coffee table, and gas fireplace, and there are private balconies with furniture and a lake or courtyard view. Our room also had a nice kitchen. It was set up a little differently in that, when you walk in the room, the bedroom is the first thing, and then you walk into the kitchen/living area.
My husband tried to do the traditional "carry over the threshold" move, but our key cards wouldn't work, so he had to run down and get assistance. And then the fireplace wouldn't light, but the staff was pretty quick to come and light it for us. I don't think we paid more than $85 during off-season (October), but this summer, the going rate seems to be about $300 for a king room.
If you have the money, this is a nice change from your run-of-the-mill accommodation on the boardwalk (but it does not face the ocean).
