Close to Beach

The place was nice, large and close to the beach (across the street); however, the traffic noise at night was a quite loud. Bdrm. is at front door, not good if more than one couple stays together and someone comes in late. Full kitchen nice if staying long.

Very large, More like an apartment then a hotel room, Full kitchen, family room, very clean, 2 tvs which you need with kids. Pool is heated so you can enjoy it on cool days

The Turtle Cay is clean & comfortable place. I don't know why they call this a Resort. It has a great pool area but there are no other activities or amenities or restaurant. It is NOT on the beach. You have to cross the street and go past the other hotels on the beach before you see sand. The biggest disappointment is the lack of a view from our room and no balcony. Many suites have balconies facing the pool courtyard. This is a Time Share and they also own the Clarion accross the street which is where you will find your fitness room and internet service.

This hotel is beautiful!!! It was very clean. The only change I would make is to prohibit smoking around the pool. I didn't see any ash trays around so a no smoking policy may be implied. Other than that, we are completely satisfied with our stay. The staff was neat, properly dressed, and helpful. All of the amenities were in working order. The parking garage under the hotel was very convenient and secure, as parking in VA Beach can be scarce!! It is within walking distant to many restaurants. We will definitely stay at Turtle Cay in the future!
