The hotel was a bit disappointing. It was slightly worn for the price and the front desk help was limited--and not particularyl helpful. The bed, however, was very comfortable and the shuttle to the airport was very convenient.

I have stayed at the Gateway many times over the last 5 yrs. They are now charging for parking $18/day. Most Hotels in the Airport area are doing this now!
I was disappointed to find that they no longer have microwaves and refrigerators in the rooms. You now have to request and are charged for them!!!
Complimentary coffee ( Starbucks) is provided each morning until 9:30AM.
The staff is very nice and friendly, although the command of English is limited.
Beds are very comfortable, better than most hotel of this star rating and above.
Fitness room is clean and well manitained.
No direct access from the parking garage to the hotel lobby. It's windy there.

The hotel in general was very nice. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. On the other hand, I did not like that we had to pay 18 dollars a night for parking. Must be why the hotel fee was so reasonable, the parking fee makes up for it.

This hotel is a great hotel. It is close to the airport and has easy access to the city. The rooms are nice with confortable beds. The hotel also has a heated pool and hot tub. The pool area is nice. The lobby area is nice. This hotel also has a restaurant on site. The employees at this are friendly.

I stayed at this hotel the weekend of 4/3 - 4/5 as I was in town for a wedding. I loved the lobby area, the colorful chandelier and d?cor are very classy. The front desk staff was very pleasant. The room itself was perfect, just like the pictures on line and oh so comfy! Very clean and quiet. I ordered room service for breakfast both mornings and each time the service was prompt & my breakfast very good. I used the computer in the business center to check my e-mail & do a few other things on-line. The internet was running a little slow but the service was free & overall nothing to really complain about. Housekeeping was good, when I called for toothpaste they sent it right up, the front desk was wonderful as they were able to give to me directions to several places & they were great about other random requests. I will definitely stay here the next time I?m in San Francisco.
