Great value close to down town!

Newly renovated, the rooms are clean and bright. Walking distance to convention center and subway!!
My self and my wife were newly wed and we did not feel welcomed at all.

While acceptable, I would only stay here again as a last resort. You can usually find much more comfortable accommodations in the same price range.

No free Internet at this hotel. The hotel is very quiet which is one of my big beefs with many hotels. I don't like noisy hotels.

I needed a place to stay for a conference. The Strathcona was clean quiet and walking distance from all amenities. The room was small but had all the necessities.

Decent, functional for one person, definitely small-ish

Not quite as luxurious as the pictures, but a good value and conveniently located. Room is barely bigger than the bed, fyi, if traveling in a pair.
