This hotel has changed its rooms, so not all rooms have spas or fireplaces. One could hear the muffled converstaions of other guests through the walls.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in one of the suites overlooking the bay and morro rock, on the first floor. We had a wonderful time, great service and beautiful room. The spa on our patio could have stayed warmer longer--but we still had a wonderful time and plan on returning for our anniversaries.
Great place for quiet weekend

The Inn at Morro Bay, was what I was expecting from all the research I did to find a nice quiet romantic place to spend a few nights with my boyfriend. The rate I paid only entitled me to a tiny bed. So we had to sleep with our feet hanging off. I would recommend this hotel to anybody, watch out for the shower though it might switch temperatures on you without touching the handle.

What was supposed to be a promised "quiet" stay turned into a nerve-shattering experience when, both mornings, I was woken up shortly after 8 a.m. to the sounds of jack hammers and pick axes outside my door. This went on all day for one day. On the second day I checked out. Their response: Couldn't have cared less. Not even a "sorry". I'll never stay there again.
