The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the hotel is in a good location, within walking distance of shopping and dining. But the room was old and small, and in need of an update. It would have been fine if the price was lower, but I was disappointed in the value of what I got for what I paid. If you just want a place to lay your head at night, this is a good spot. But if you are looking for a comfortable enjoyable room, look someplace else.

The hotel staff was very freindly providing my family with excellent dining suggestions as well as activities for me and family. The location was great, we were able to walk to everything. My kid enjoyed their pool and they had a nice continental breakfast in the morning. I will be back and recommend this to my hotel to my freinds and family.

Checking in and out was a charm thanks to the superfriendly and efficient Staff, the hotel and the room were extremely well maintained and very clean altough the interior design was definetively a bit outdated. Ample parking space, and yet walking distance to Carmel by the sea ... a sun deck (breakfast) and flawless internet connectivity On a (mind you this is california) budget with high expectations ... then this is a great deal, would stay here again in a heartbeat ...

My family and I were coming to Carmel for the first time and very pleased when we got to the Best Western. We were greeted by a very freindly gentlemen at the front desk who gave us excellent reccommendations for the area dining. The location was great because we left the car in lot and walked everywhere. The rooms were clean comfortable and spacious. They had a modest breakfast and unlike some of the other hotels we passed with no parking they had ample space. We definitley come back.
