They were somewhat annoying about the "opportunity to tour."

We did not spend much time at the resort, instead we toured the surrounding country. We love tennis and were somewhat disappointed in that the tennis courts were severely cracked and portions of the lines were missing. These conditions may be a consequence of the Wisconsin winters, and we arrived at the beginning of the summer season.
Soon after we arrived, we noticed an unpleasant smell in our unit. As it turned out, the gas fireplace had a slow leak, which maintenance came promptly to fix, but did not succeed in fixing until the second try. We would have given this resort a much better rating if we had not had this experience.

The layout of the place was nice; there was a living room with a gas powered fireplace that was very romantic even in the summer. The screened-in back porch with a downdraft grill/stove was great and made cooking out there very nice. The second bedroom was a little small and it had two twins in it. It would have been nice to have the option of queens in both bedrooms. There is not much yard, but sufficient for the resort. The on-site golf course looked very nice, though it cost around $70 per person per 18 holes. The only other small inconvenience was that the main activities building was clear on the other side of the property so you had to take a car to get there. That made it real inconvenient to participate in any of the resort activities.
Overall, it was nice and very convenient to access all of the Dell's many sights and activities. I had a friend stay at the cabins at Christmas Mountain Village, which are smaller than the timbers, but her unit was much nicer than ours that is for sure.

We stayed in a cottage type timeshare just off the RV park. There were units away from the RV park area that certainly looked more modern and luxurious, but we were satisfied with the unit we received. Two bedrooms, one bath, kitchen, living room, and deck. The setting behind the cottage was wooded. We were a bit disappointed in the landscaping in this area. The unit was exceptionally clean and all appliances where in working order. The proximity to the playground, laundry, clubhouse, and pool area was appreciated.
