Couldn't pay me to stay here again!

  • August 26, 2008

Management was rude and completely unprofessional! Wouldn't stay here again just based on him. Rooms were extremely dirty when we arrived, blood on one of the door jambs and even had MOLD in the ceiling and air vents. Smelled terrible and the air conditioner barely worked. Additional fees were everywhere; parking, linen serves, tennis, and basketball courts. They charge you a cleaning fee, but expect you to take out the trash and clean up before you leave. While security seems like added peace of mind they gave us the third degree upon checking in the first time, and questioned what you were doing any time in the evening walking around the property. Would not recommend this property to anyone - we actually left 3 days early!

the rooms were dirty and smelled of cigarrettes. They did not clean the room while you were there. The room was dirty when I got there. They offered no help when my vacation was shorted by one day. I would never go here again and not recommend it to anyone. The room was old looking and the air conditioning barely worked. Overall a terrible place to stay.

Total cost was not mentioned until we asked upon leaving. No linen service but they charge you for it anyway. Charge a cleaning fee but expect you to clean before you leave.

Two-thirds Happy

The resort is lovely with lots to do. However, we were placed in a room that did not go along with our reservations. We reserved oceanfront, but received parking lot-front. Supposedly it was an "upgrade"--a one-bedroom instead of a studio. All we wanted was an oceanfront room. After 24 hours of a three-night trip, we were placed in the room we reserved. It was wonderful. Lots of hassle to get there, though.

Too many rooms and not enough elevators. And rooms need to be updated
