Our group had 10 rooms/couples. All 10 had a wonderful experience. Can't wait to return. Excellent Staff, rooms and food.
Fun night in Miami

This is a very nice hotel. We had a very nice room with a good view of a lake.When you check in they give you a free glass of wine.very close to airport, with a free shuttle back and forth... I would stay again!!

. This particular hotel had some electrical work occuring. The electricity was to be out between 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. The power was not restored until 8:30 a.m. - Not only did the lights not work, but the air conditioning and toilets did not work - this made for a very uncomfortable morning. The carpet was in great need of replacement.The manager said that on our next visit, he would upgrade to an Ex. Suite. (Nothing off the room for the power being out-not even breakfast).The lobby, restuarant, bar, exercise room, pool area were all great.

With it's European style, this is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Elegant & understated with a very accomodating staff & excellent customer service. Wonderful down beds, fluffy towels & all the little 'extras' you don't find in most hotels these days. There is very little appeal to Miami for this business traveler but I do enjoy staying at this hotel. If you get the chance, don't pass up a night at Sofitel.

Very tricky to find. Thank goodness we had navagation in our rental car. We were under the impression that this was a new hotel. Our mistake, I guess. The waterfall at the pool is some awful looking tile structure that no longer works. I had to clean the bathtub before I could use it because it was dirty. Very limited towels supplied, had to ask for more. Air freshner is room was so strong that it made me wonder what they were hiding. The room had a well worn look to it. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
