Considering the age of the hotels, we were concerened about staying there. We enjoyed our stay as much as anywhere we have been. Location is great. Valet service is a real plus. Will stay here next ttime we visit Annapolis.
Thanks!

We had a great stay in Annapolis! Room was small but very clean and had all of the necessities. Could have used more convenient ice and more personal items in room (shampoo etc). With that said, the bed and pillows were terrific. By far, the most comfortable mattress and most plentiful pillows we can remember. Overall, a very comfortable stay and would choose the Historic Inns again.
Needs a lot of charm to make up for shortcomings

Historic charm, but price is considerable inconvenience and discomfort. Three buildings, one front desk means that if you have a problem they are two blocks away. All parking is valet at $20/day; takes at least 15-30 minutes to get your car when you need it. Rooms are well decorated but tiny. Mine was heated/cooled by noisy window air conditioner. Staff friendly but amateurish -- seem to be mostly college kids: well-intentioned but don't know what they are doing. Restaurant serves excellent food but very expensive, crowded, understaffed.Overall, neat idea, poorly executed.

Our stay was wonderful. We will definitely stay there for the next Boat Show we attend in Annapolis.

Annapolis historic hotels are a group of old hotels built in the 1770 to 1854 the decor off the old arcitecture was visible in the room, but with modern amenities, well worth the price and in walking distance of the old dock city
