Bellini's was simply beautiful. Its a boutique luxury lodge which has mountain views, and is surrounded by lovely grounds with immaculate lawns and gardens. My wife is into flowers and she decided to count all their varieties of roses, and eventually gave up. (And that was just the roses!)
The design is quite unusual, but immensely charming and appealing.Some nice use of natural stones and timbers. Very nice suites with COMFORTABLE beds... and also nice works of art and antique around the place.
The owners served drinks and nibbles to guests each night before we went out to dinner, and these turned out to be a lot of fun. There was another very nice couple staying there that we got to know well, and the hosts were very interesting too. I think one of the GREAT things in staying in small places is that you do get to know people, and because the owners are local, they're a fantastic source of good advice on the best things to do.
