Great Hotel

We stayed 2 nights while seeing the sights in and around central Virginia. The hotel was very clean, the staff was just great, the room was clean and quiet and the location was super. The hotel is 3 miles from Univ of VA; 10 miles from Montecello and 20 miles from Mountpelier.

Our family of four (2 parents, 2 preteen girls) stayed there while visiting family. We really found it to be delightful. The hotel is very nicely updated, with fresh common areas and very nice rooms. Bedding is comfortable, and furniture is basic but functional. Wifi worked blazingly fast. Free breakfast buffet had good quality items, and was kept clean and fully-stocked, even on busy holiday weekend mornings.
The staff and manager seemed all to be noticeably friendlier and more responsive than we are used to.
We feel we have found a new place to stay when visiting family in Charlottesville.
Football Weekend

Stayed during a football game weekend. Hotel was very clean/basic. Delicious complimentary coffee and cookies in the lobby at night. Easy access to Emmett St. which leads to UVA. Only problem was a little mildew on shower curtain. Will use for a return visit.
