We were given a room that was occupied. the desk clerk quickly corrected the problem. The room was clean and had a refrigerator, microwave and a coffee pot. We had a reservation for 3 days, check in was at 4pm we arrived at 1:30 in the morning and had to pay full price check out and check back in. we learned a lot about hotels. Looked for a different place that was cheaper and just as nice. It was a nice place but pricey for the area.

Nightmare!

My husband and I were never treated so rudely in our life, and my husband is easy to get along with. The room the clerk gave us was already occupied and she refused to believe us. Our room was a distance away from the desk, and they refused to come and see for themselves. The next morning the desk personnel were just as hostile as the ones the night before. When we tried to contact the manager, we were cut off by the clerk. The bed was so bad my husband went to the second bed because he felt like he was going to sink into the middle. Another guest commented that he thought the desk personnel were a little short in the intelligence area, too, but their stay wasn't the disaster ours was. The last time we were in Homer, I spit when we went by the Bidarka Inn, the experience was that bad.

Pleasantly surprised!

The most comfortable bed I've slept on in a long time, complete with plush down comforter and pillows! This hotel was 1/3 the price of the one we stayed in the night before, and quite a bargain. The facilities were clean, the room included a refridgerator and microwave, and there is also a small bar and a restaurant serving a very early buffet for people going a fishing charter. I would highly recommend this motel!
