My family and I stayed in this hotel during our very first trip to myrtle beach and we left a day early. I have no desire to go back to myrtle bach because I have very little confidence in any hotel there. We payed WAY to much for what we got. The very first room that they put us in had an ajoinning door which did not lock and had a balcony door that did not even shut much less lock. They put us in a new room that did lock and that was about the only good thing they did. They were so cheap they had a sign on their ice machine that you could only use it for in room ice not for coolers! There were bugs in the room and it smelled very musty. I will not stay there again much less recommend this hotel to anyone else. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. You dont have to worry about public parking at the beach because it is right across the street from the beach. However still not worth the money!

We loved staying at Cabana Shores. The best feature is its location in a residential area so it is not crowded on the beach and only takes a few minutes to get to Broadway at the beach, Carolina Orpry, Barefoot Landing, etc. We were very and happy will only stay here from now on.

what they DON'T mention in the pictures or reviews is that there is a ROAD between hotel and beach. I wanted beachfront and was disappointed with cars going by constantly even early morning. I would not have stayed had i known it wasn't on the beach. just my preference. beach not as crowded because its in a neighborhood.
