unclean in Baltimore

I actually checked in 1 day early and in th5 days that we were there, they did not change the bed linens once.We ate at a fast food rest. and the bags sat on the floor behind the trash can for 2 days. The bathroom floor was not swept once during the entire stay. The last day we were there I went to take a shower and the towel that I picked up was damp, suggesting that it may have been recycled prior to washing.

Don't Stay Here

I was very disappointed in my recent stay. I had made a reservation for two rooms with a credit card guaranteeing a late arrival because I knew that I would be arrivng around 9-10Pm. We arrived at the hotel around 9:45 and was greeted by a very rude desk clerk who went on to tell me and everyone in the lobby that she had cancelled my rooms because my credit card had declined. If this was indeed the situation I would have thought that she could have found a more professional way to share that she had a problem processing my card. Secondly why had she processed my card before my arrival. I was told by Days Inn that I could pay for my stay with cash when I got there and that the credit would not be charged. The rooms were nice but the hall smelled . The next morning my sister didn't have water for a shower and the management just told her they were sorry and had her sign her credit card receipt for payment. I will never stay here again and I travel to the Baltimore area often. I hope that this helps the next person in their decision on where not to stay.

Great stay... besides the smell!

I was extremely satisfied with my stay... except for the smell of our room. It was very musty, kind of like a wet towel was left out in the room, yet we found nothing in the room when we checked in. After you were in the room for a few minutes you didn't notice the scent anymore, but if you were to go out and come back in it was there still. Also, the elevators did have a strange smell to them too, but for the few seconds you were in those, it wasn't an issue. Also, something I thought was strange was there was a little area with 2 chairs and a table next to the beds, yet I was unable to sit there to do some work on my laptop because there were no plugs to plug my computer in. I had to sit on the bed to work, which isn't an issue at all, I just thought it strange. Again, overall, I was extremely satisfied though. The room was clean, everything worked just fine, the beds were SUPER comfortable, you couldn't hear any noise from outside the room. Great price for the money!

Very nice hotel. Room was large and comfortable. Was a smoking room but didn't reek like many do. Convenient location off I-695. Centrally located. Lots of stores, gas, restaurants close by. Nice looking pool - but closes too early - 7pm. All in all very good deal and I would definitely stay there again!

You get what you pay for.
