A Great Place to Stay!

We went to Marco Island to visit friends. We stayed over for one night. We were very happy with the accomadations. We had a gulf view with a terrace. The pool was great. The staff was friendly. The room could not have been any better. The entire hotel was very clean. We hated to leave. The only complaint was dinner. My husband was not feeling well and so I went to one of the restaurants and ate alone. I waiting longer that others who came in after me. By the time I got my meal, it wasn't hot.

Everthing was wonderful with three exceptions.
1. They charge for local phone calls.
2. Internet is not free.
3. They only provide two small drinking glassed per room.
On this same trip, I stayed at other Hiltons and these services were free......also free at most other hotels.
Unless they change their policy, I probably would pick another hotel. For their rates you would expect these services to be free.

So far my best experiences have been at the Hilton Hotels. We had the best service and experience that made a Beautiful Vacation for us. They had the best rate and we actualy looked at other Resorts that were close by and nearly double in price with nothing much more to offer. The Desk, the Restaurants, Pool Attendes, Water Sports, Room Service and Cleaning Services were exceptionally Good. Thanks to all of you! I would stay there any chance I can!

Was not satisfied for not receiving the room promised/reserved upon arrival, it required next day for us to check (they would not even call us or contact us). We did receive complimentary breakfast for next morning, dur to the inconvenience. The room given faced construction site and could not even sit outside the balcony, due to loud noise (we were not told about this). When I mentioned it to the front desk clerk, he put a blank face on my comments.
The rest is as normal as expected...
