What a Gem

I spent a week here on business. I loved this hotel. It was warm, quiet, and convenient. I felt like an honored guest here. Greeted every morning and everynight by the very attentive staff. Hot coffee and cookies on my return after working 12 hours and walking several blocks was wonderful. My room was big, comfortable, and quiet. The closeness of this hotel to everything was wonderful. I loved this hotel so much I booked the next week to return for 2 more days of work. I came by train from OHare and cabbed in from the Belmont Blue Line Station. I was able to walk to work everyday and numerous restaurants everynight. I should mention I am a middle 50s woman from the midwest so this should say a lot about the safety and security I felt here. This hotel reminded me of when we of when we lived in Europe.
I would choose this hotel hands down anytime.

A little out of the way, but very easy to get to on the bus. Clean and quiet. Older hotel but well maintained. Would stay here again.

The Willows Hotel reminds one of a hotel in the UK, a nice change from the run of the mill chain hotel. Small, with a friendly staff, continental breakfast, and coffee/tea in the lounge 24 hours. Excellent choice if you're going to be on the North Side in the Lincoln Park area.
