I stayed here for New Year's Eve 2007. I'll list pros and cons for you (in my opinion)
Pros: Cons:
*Bedding *$1.00 charge for every local call you make.
*Location (Southpark Mall) *Older carpeting and fixures (in need of remodeling)
*Value for the money *I was sent an email asking if I wanted wine, cheese
*Nice Size Bath tub and crackers but when I got to the room I had to wait
*Staff (friendly and pleasant) almost an hour for the items to be delivered.
*Free Parking *$35.00 additional deposit if you choose to pay with
cash (I wasn't told about this until I arrived even
though I called and specifically asked about paying
with cash.)
**I would stay here again but I would check out other places first.

I stayed here for the second time. The first time I stayed it was the Hyatt. My experience was much better. This time, they over booked the hotel, so I had to stay in a handicap room the first night. The next 2 nights, I was placed in another room that had a broken air conditioner. Stuff kept going wrong to the point that I was tired of calling downstairs. I had to ask for everything 3 times before I actually got any service. I still didn't get any air conditioning and was not pleased with the room. Not in the same league as Southpark Marriott or Ballyntine.

I travel a lot and stay at a wide range of hotels. Value for the money wise this wasn't the best I have ever seen but it was darn good. I particularly liked the staff. I had my 2 sons with me (think apocolipse in t-shirts) and the staff went way out of their way to make their weekend special. I also really liked the indoor heated pool.
