From the moment you walk into the expansive lobby with its polished white marble floors, sophisticated furnishings, and beautiful artwork, you know this is a hotel designed for grown ups who appreciate excellent service, elegant dining, and comfortable rooms. The staff is courteous, friendly, and helpful. The exercise room is fabulous; the small lounge area is cozy; and the restaurant serves tasty, interesting meals. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The outdoor pool area is small, clean, and set up for lounging. A 24-hour free shuttle leaves for the airport every half hour.
What this hotel doesn't have:
No free breakfast.
No free booze or snacks.
No one cannon-balling into the pool.
No sand tracked through the lobby.
No unsupervised children playing in the hallways or elevators.
No mildew, damp carpeting, or musty smells in the guest rooms.
Bottom line: This hotel is ideal for a business or frequent traveler or a vacationer seeking a place to stay in Orlando that doesn't cater exclusively to the theme-park crowd. Room prices are very competitive.
