Perfect for what we wanted

We were looking for a weekend getaway from the kids. This hotel was perfect for us. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was very clean. The bathroom was inexplicably clean - perfect. The queen size bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well. The hallways were hot but the room was perfect. Cherry furniture looks great. You don't get some of the amenities that you get with the big chains such as gift shops, etc but the level of attention from the staff makes up for it. We ate dinner in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. There is character, charm, and coziness galore in this place. The photos on the web are a very true representation of what you'll find. Our waiter spent a lot of time with us and allowed us to stay as long as we liked. The food came very promptly. Our only complaint was that it was a little pricey. We don't get out much so we justified it that way. I read a lot of reviews on other sites before choosing this hotel. If you don't care about the view (you can't see the Falls or much of anything else - but the tall hotels only have a good view on the top floors of one side anyway), want a central location that's not far from anything but don't want to be in the center of Clifton Hill either, and like good food then this place is for you. Easy walking distance to the casinos, Falls, Skylon Tower, Clifton Hill. There's about 50 restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Free parking too. I'm sure we'll go back.

Pleasently surprised

At 2am we decided to go away for a romantic weekend. Did some surching and took a chance on this Inn. We could not have been happier after our arrival. Excellent place to stay. Would, and do look forward to staying there again.

not good for the price

Well, it was just an OK stay. Had expected much more for the price. The bathroom was not very clean. We had free full brealfast coupons, so that was good. Had dinner at the hotel once. It was awful. It tasted bad and it was $90 for 2 people. If u r willing to spend around $100 for 2, you can have dinner at the skylon tower!! I loved the dinner at Edgewaters on Niagara Parkway. The food was good and the view was awesome!!
