I was cheated

I booked one * dollar room though online travel website but I was provided one $* room. When I booked the room, I told them that three persons would live there. I felt being cheeted so am very angry.

The Mosser is worth your time and attention.

After having stayed at The Mosser for two nights, I was very eager to write a review. It seems that The Mosser is a rather debated hotel, with reviews being either way above average or way below average, so I'd like to add my opinion. First of all: If you are a traveler who likes to be pampered, who likes to have amenities like exercise rooms, pools, spas, etc., if you wouldn't consider sharing a bathroom with someone or having a small room... then this is not the hotel for you. Do not stay at The Mosser, because it will not be what you're expecting, and you will be disappointed. There are many hotels in San Francisco that would leave you much happier. That being said, if you're on a budget and you want an excellent, clean, efficient, professional, comfortable hotel with a killer location for a stellar price, The Mosser is for you. We stayed in one of the "shared" rooms, which means we had a queen bed and shared bathrooms with other rooms. There's two shower/tub "washrooms" per floor, and two bathrooms per gender per floor. The floors are small, maybe 10 rooms per, so the facilities are never more than a few steps away. The Mosser provides wash basins in the room, shower caddies, and bathrobes to make this more convenient for you. Overall, we were amazed. The hotel was clean, the staff was super friendly, courteous, and professional. The facilities were great. The location can't be beat - within walking distance of the MOMA, Metreon, the outdoor mall, and connected to all the major transportation in the city to within a few steps. Overall I have almost no criticisms for this hotel - if you're looking for the best bang for your buck, The Mosser is it.

Wonderful

I had always wanted to visit SF, but the cost always worried me. Upon reading about the "boroughs" I was apprehensive at first to stay here by the looks of things for the SOMA area. And arriving and the elevator being out of service was a step in the wrong direction. However the staff was extremely nice about everything and they took care of me. And once getting to my room and taking a long look to observe the bathroom/shower and my room, I couldn't find a speck of dirt anywhere. Yes the room was extremely small, but the bed was so comfortable I didn't even care. Since I'm a single traveler looking for a unique hotel, The Mosser is great and I definitely would stay here again, but if you are used to more spacious "chain" hotels look elsewhere. I highly recommend this hotel....

Pleasantly Surprised

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Although the rooms were small, they were exceptionally clean and well designed space. The front desk and service were tops. I recommend this to anyone except families w/ kids in same room, too small for that.

I love the Mosser

Great location and great nights sleep. Comfy bed. Unclear how the 'Mosser method' of environmentalism is enacted and the robes were 60% polyester. If you want muffins, wake up early, they were out by 9am every morning. Little things, but I loved the hotel!
