An Incredible Trip to San Francisco

Everything about our stay was wonderful. As we expected, the room was very small but well designed and organized. The bed was very comfortable. The room stayed cool and comfortable with the window open and the ceiling fan going. We shared a bathroom. We never had to wait, the bathroom and shower were spotless and very convenient. The people at the front desk were always available, very friendly, and very helpful. They were always available to answer questions, help us plan our day or get around the city, and to arrange trips outside the city. The location was outstanding. We walked out of the hotel and everything we needed was within walking distance - buses, trains, cable cars, shopping, restaurants. Our stay could not have been better! We will definitely visit this incredible city again and we will definitely stay at the Mosser again! Oh, and don't miss Yosemite, the 17-mile drive down the coast, and the wine country.

It was okay, but nothing spectacular

First of all, this is an older hotel thats been remodeled. It was a decent place to stay at if your not incredibly picky. However, the staff will come off a little snooty at first, the rooms are alot smaller than they are pictured to be, and the front door of the hotel is always wide open so I didnt feel totally secure. When I was there I kept hearing doors slamming in the hallway at night, not sure if that was lousy neighbors or if the walla were thin or what. The location is good for people who are going to take the muni buses around town and for people who wanna shop downtown. The rooms were cute, and quite modern. Overall, its an okay hotel, but I dont think id stay there again.

Great value with a good location

RIght off of Market Street and across from the Marriott, The Mosser is in a great location. The price was excellent knowing that this is a premiere US city. I stayed in a room on a floor with shared bathroom and shower, but I knew that going in. Besides, I wasn't spending that much time in my room. I had wished there was some kind of workout facility on the premises (or even if they sponsored a cheap membership at a local gym).

Budget Stay!

It was convenient and cheap! What more can I say? It's small groups - single person or couple. The room is extremely small, but the space is enough for rest/sleep. It's highly recommended for those who wants to save money but also want a decent place to stay.

Great location

Room was as small as I expected, but clean and well-supplied. The morning cleaning crew was noisy in the hall, waking me up 3/5 mornings, but always friendly. Doorman and front desk staff helpful with directions. Plenty of places to eat, museums, activities, shops, touristy stuff within blocks. Airport shuttle was a good value.
