The rooms and bed were small but, worked for us. My only real complaint would be the sink. It was completely useless because it was so TINY! It would have been perfect for a 3 yr. old.
The people at the front desk were very courteous and efficient. I would stay here again. The hotel has a lot of character.

This hotel is in a great location for shopping and public transportation. The location made it easy to get around, saved money and time. Lots of shopping on market street and nearby. The rooms are smaller but very well designed and well kept. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Great experience. I would definitely go back!
Good inexpensive option near Market Street

The Mosser is a good deal and the location is hard to beat one block south of Market street, near the museums, the Moscone Convention center, and lots of restaurants, as well as convenient to highway 101 and 280 entrances to head south to silicon valley quickly.
One thing that you should be forewarned about... the rooms with private bathrooms have really small bathrooms, and the bathroom sink is actually just a tiny triangle sink in the corner of the main room... it's so small, you can barely wash your face or brush your teeth without dripping on the carpet. No counter space around the sink. Clearly a retrofit, not well designed.
But if you like a great deal, friendly front desk, and a good location, it's a good option. Note that there is only valet parking, no self parking, and there's a daily charge (it was $29 a night when I stayed there, may change). But the valet parking worked well if you gave them 20 minutes notice to deliver the car.
Also the mattress is a little soft for my taste. But all clean and seems well run.
