We Expected Better

Noisy rooms. Some of the table lamps never worked. Told front desk and they just said "OK". They never fixed them. The toilet had problems, they fixed it. The shower didn't drain, they fixed it. The rooms were not clean. No cream/sugar for the in-room coffee. When I checked out, the front desk said "everything is good, my account is paid". However, they later charged my card $25 plus for something, they have yet to explain. We will return someday to New Orleans, but we will stay in a different hotel.
Pet friendly they weren't

I had called and confirmed that the Omni was a pet friendly hotel. They never explained their so called policy to me. I paid 100.00 to bring my two small dogs with me because the hotel said they were pet friendly. After we arrive we are informed that we cannot leave our pets unattended even in their kennel. I ended up having to pay another 50.00 to board my animals so I could go shop and eat while I was in New Orleans.
The staff was not apologetic and I wouldn't stay there again.

I love this hotel. I was stuck for hours in traffic because of blocked streets due to parades. This hotel was so friendly an thoughtful. They answer all my numerous calls and made sure I got to the hotel easily and safe. I can't wait to go back.

Room looked new and updated. Bathroom was very nice. Bed very comfortable. Large assortment for quick breakfast. Only problem is we were misinformed by the description, there was no pool. There is plans for a pool, i was told when we arrived. We chose this hotel BECAUSE of the pool, since we were traveling with a 3 year old. Even though the description on the internet was wrong, and it was aggravating, the hotel itself was beautiful and well-appointed. We will stay again.

He was a big guy and as gentle as a lamb. he helped me with my sleeping 2 yr old. Wonderfull man. Good job Omni!
