Description: My boyfriend and I recently traveled to Hawaii for a much-needed vacation and spent 10 days between Kauai and Honolulu. Not wanting the typical hotel stay experience, we started searching through vacation/condo rentals and came across the amazing little gem!
We knew we for sure wanted to stay in North Kauai (ideally Princeville), close to Hanalei Bay. This rental location was spot on--only about 10 minutes from "downtown" Hanalei, close to a Foodland and fish market for groceries, and amazing views.
Breakfast on the lanai was a treat -- gorgeous views of lush rain forest with mountains in the distance. And rainfall during the night left us with spontaneous waterfalls and rainbows each morning. At night, the clear skies away from the city lights gave us awesome views of the starry sky and lots of shooting stars. Also, if you love golf, you're walking distance to two courses.
This Tommy Bahama decorated-style unit has a full kitchen (oven/stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, etc) and a stackable washer/dryer unit, along with a small living room (dining table, couch, tv), and two comfortable queen-sized beds (one in the loft and one on the far side of the living room). Not to mention, beach equipment for us to use (snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach towels and a cooler).
It's an open area so would be ideal for one couple, or a couple with children (they'd think the loft was cool!). Or, if traveling with a larger group, there's a 213 B unit as well that shares the same lanai that could be reserved simultaneously to accommodate more people.
And above all, Candace was AMAZING! She was very prompt and professional in booking our reservation, as well as extremely nice and helpful answering questions and providing great tips on restaurants, activities, and places to visit around the island.
When I go back to Kauai, I definitely will be staying here again!
