"Great rate, Great Stay"

This was a good hotel for a nice price. It was built in the late 1800's and has some historic charm. The room was clean and comfortable. Take the stairs, they are fun and you can imagine all the people over the last century that have walked up and down them. Walking distance to downtown GS and the hot springs are a stones throw across the street. Check it out.

Grand Historic Hotel with an Excellent Gormet Resturant. Location, people, staff and services were cool.

Poor Hotel Colorado

We arrived with my parents. Got a handicapped room for them because my Dad is recovering from a stroke. When we went to their room, it had not been cleaned. We had to wait an hour outside the room and then they did a poor job. The next day when we all came in from the hot springs, our room had been cleaned but not the handicapped room my parents were in. They didn't clean it until we were all leaving for dinner. I didn't expect this kind of poor service from this historic, well thought of, hotel.

Beautiful

The property was lovely, however, there were renovations being done on the lobby which detracted from its appearance. The staff were not very friendly or helpful. Although there was no air conditioning, the ceiling fans cooled the rooms nicely. If you want to go to the hot springs located across the street, I would look into staying at the Hot Springs Lodge as admission is included with the room.

Do not stay here

It is under remodeling. The front area is ripped apart. Everything is old and dirty. It is a 1*hotel. Maybe in a few years it will be nice but not now. It is right across the street from the springs, which is nice.
