Rooms were small but nice and clean. Feather pillows and comfortables. Bathrooms were small but adequate. Hotel is in a good location since you can walk to Madison and Park Aves, Central park and broadway. The Grey line picks up right across the street. There is a wonderful, wonderful Italian restaurant right around the corner. Don't leave NYC without eating Juniors cheesecake (in Brooklyn or on Broadway). It is the BEST!
Marriott Eastside
I highly recommend this hotel. Rooms are small (it is NYC) but updated and clean. My daughter was excited to have a plasma flat-screen TV in the room. We did have some trouble with Marriott (1-800) check-in reservation - we made changes to my reservation prior to going, and the front desk was not aware of the changes. However, they honored my change and gave us early check-in (9:30am). Since then, I have had a follow-up email land telephone calls from the hotel manager and asst. manager.
