This was a good place to stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff and in a very easy location to find from the airport. It was 9 miles from the airport just off hwy 25 going towards Santa Fe. They had free breakfast every morning which saved us some money. If you just have to have your Grand Slam Breakfast...there is a Denny's just across the parking lot.
Disappointed

This was our second stay at a La Quinta and I was disappointed both times. We were placed in a handicap room which I did not request. There were no small toiletries provided and barely enough towels and wash cloths. Room was not overly clean. Breakfast consisted of prepackaged rolls, yogurt, cereal and fruit. Not much!! There was a toaster, but no bread.
Good thing there is a Denney's right across the parking lot.

We were traveling with a little kitten and were asked by the cleaning staff if they could see the kitten. She said it was adorable. I told her sorry about the litter, she responded with a "no problem". We were also given a tray to carry breakfast back to the room for the kids that were still in bed. The beds were comfortable but small. The only thing that could've made our stay GREAT, would've been more sturdy chairs with no sides - poolside. Not everyone is petite; larger sized people need seating too. Otherwise, nice place to stay, nice and helpful staff. I would stay there again.

I love staying at La Quinta because of the great breakfasts. There was no waffles and the fresh fruit was an apple or banana. Other La Quinta's breakfasts are great.
