...Horrible service, filthy rooms, disrespectful staff and management (no matter how much money you have spent). I would recommend howard johnsons or motel 6 before this place...At least you know what you are paying for. Don't waste your time or money here. Make it worth your while and go to las vegas.

Our room was fabulous: comfortable, immaculate, nicely decorated, jacuzzi, hdtv. We hit the casino and weren't doing too well when my husband hit a jackpot on a nickel machine, but it didn't ring as a win. We asked one of the floor staff for an explanation. He couldn't figure it out & got the floor manager. He told us the slot machines are tied into an ongoing on-line bingo game and wins are based on how you're doing in bingo. There's no way to not play bingo. We asked the cashier and player's club staff for additional explanation but got the brush off. We had a beer in a casino bar and the bartender was surly & rude. Instead of losing anymore, we went back to the room & used the jacuzzi. We spent some time by the beautiful pool for cocktails, then to the Green Room restaurant in the hotel for dinner. The food was pretty good. After we rented a movie in the room and kicked back. In all, the hotel is fabulous, the casino is a waste of time & money.

From the chocolate guitars that are left on the bed to the killer stereo, this is a high end night that should be experienced by all. It is not a cheap night, but well worth the money. From the copy of Rolling Stone to the gorgeous room, it was a bit high for us, but we will be back. We loved the restaurants and actually won at the slots. (YAY!) This is a once a year splurge that is well worth the money and pampering that they throw on you. You've got to get your Rock on every once in a while and this is a place to do it.
Frustrated

Lots of little things made our stay frustrating.
There isn't much to do here and the hotel is close to nothing else. You have to deal with a monstrous parking garage to get anywhere. So if you're planning on staying here don't plan on leaving much.
Gambling is poker or slots- no blackjack, roulette, or craps here. A cloud of smoke awaits you if you do plan on playing slots.
Food options are a food court, room service, or a restaurant during the day that only serves a $* each buffet. The main restaurant doesn't open until 5pm.
The pool bar serves a limited menu that you can get but the pool is open from 7am to 12am, yeah am, but only serves drinks or food from 11am to 8pm.
So if you want to chill by the pool at night and have a few drinks you are out of luck.
The pool is nice, the food is good.
It rains here during this portion of the year a lot. So we watched a lot of movies.
Good luck.

This is a pretty unique hotel. Plenty of slot machines. I didn't see any card tables for black jack or anything, but they do have a room to play Texas Hold 'Em. Had dinner at Floyd's which had live entertainment. The Snapper and Tuscan chicken were both good choices. Anyone can come to play at the Casino so there are security guards at the elevators that ensure that only hotel guests get on the elevators. There are also lots of security guards around the doors and on the casino floor.
Great staff and very clean hotel. The only problem is that smoking is allowed in the casino. Otherwise, everything else was great. Would return. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes from Tampa and is kind of in the middle of no where off of I-4. Hotel gets pretty crowded on weekends, especially the casino.
