Good place to stay at a reasonable price

We stayed 4 nights at the Red Roof Inn and it went very smoothly. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful; check-in and out very efficient. Maids were helpful as well and they did a good job of cleaning the rooms and checking if there was anything that was needed. Pillows could be better, along with the bath amenities but they were adequate.

Good for a budget hotel

You get what you pay for here -- an affordable, no-frills hotel. The positives: The staff was VERY friendly and helpful (especially for driving directions and restaurant suggestions). The coffee machine in the lobby was a bonus (one-touch coffee, cafe latte, cafe mocha, etc.). The wireless Internet was easy to use (after you pay the $6/night fee). Easy access via I-10 to western Phoenix sports stadiums. The negative: Rooms showing their age & heavy use (it was clean, just faded with chipped tiles & industrial-bland carpets & paint). Neighborhood was sketchy.

Cheap in every sense of the word

Rooms are small and cramped without usual amenities (like extra pillows, refrig or microwave). Soap and shampoo provided but as small as possible. Linens threadbare. No breakfast items available. Even cable TV of limited channels. Neat and clean, though. Shower good water pressure. Easy access to I-10 and restaurants. Good value at $50 per night or under.

Great hotel bad location

that's the only problem I had with this hotel was the location. There was no sign on the street indicating where to turn so I missed the turn the first time coming in. Other than that the rooms are great! very clean very comfortable. The staff is friendly but they should warn you about their room keys and the possibilty of them becoming demagnatized. Security is good and is in the parking lot and entrance area all night. So other than the location and lack of signs this is a great hotel.

I was disappointed

No coffee maker, I had to pay for wireless internet service. The staff were rude and not very helpful. It was close to the airport and the grounds were nice. Those are the only good things I can say about it.
