Another Great Stay

Had a great time staying here. Staff was very accomodating, hot tub was very relaxing after a long evening. Shuttle service to wherever you decide you want to go. Cab rides to MGM around $10. The pull-out bed in the living room was a little uncomfortable but to be expected for a hide-away. All-in-all a great time at a great deal to get off the strip. 3 LCD Tv's in the rooms and decent cable service. Full kitchen and laundry (Dont need to pack as much!).

impressive lodging just off strip!

This Place is a Bargain for Families

This is a timeshare property owned by Diamond Resorts International, and one of the things we like about booking timeshare units is that It's basically like having a one or two bedroom apartment for the same price as a regular hotel room. Full kitchen, living room, dining area, and private balcony. Cable TV in the bedroom as well as the living room. One nice touch with this property is that the units have their own personal laundry room with washer & dryer. There are two pool areas, one for adults only and the other for families. Jacuzzi temperature felt a little tepid. For grocery shopping, there's a Trader Joes on the west side of Decatur just north of Sahara Ave. Wireless internet available in the unit for $8 per day (something that seems to be common with most Vegas hotels, unfortunately, is charging for wireless access), or you can get free wireless from the lounge just off the lobby. As I mentioned earlier. this is a timeshare property, so when you check-in, you'll be offered a chance to sit in on a presentation in return for tickets to one of the lesser Vegas shows, but there is absolutely no pressure to accept (the pressure comes when you actually sit in on the presentation). What timeshare companies will do on occasion is release their unused inventory to the general public, so if you can snag one, it is usually well worth it, especially for families with children, because the room amenities equal or surpass any hotel suite for the same price as a regular hotel room. We booked a unit at the Westgate Flamingo Bay (another timeshare property) through an online travel agency a few years ago and had a similarly great room (although that property doesn't have a pool).

Great time! Would stay again

My husband and I stayed with our 4 kids ranging in ages from 4-9. They loved the pool and we loved the fact that the hotel was far enough away from the strip that they did not hear all the noise and to keep them in their bubble. It was great being in a gated community so we felt very safe. The pool was a bit cold but that could just be the fact that it is over 100 degrees in the sun and the pool of course is not that warm so it felt cold. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My 2 youngest left their stuffed animals at the hotel and the cleaning staff found and sent them to us. The only drawback was we were taken aback that this is a time share property. We were unaware but were not required to sit through any presentations.

The staff was very polite during check-in even as they juggled many things at one time. The units are great with everything you would need. I would prefer their beds to mine at home. Our room was in the back on the 2nd floor and very private. I would suggest a car to get around, there are so many things to do. I cant wait to go back, we are booked for August 07.
