Dirty, Dirty, Dirty, Filthy, Disgusting!!!

The sheets on one of the beds were dirty. When we asked for new sheets, they brought tablecloths. There was a large donut box, an empty 2 liter bottle, and something I couldn't identify under one of the beds. The heater smelled bad when I turned it on. One of the lampshades had melted. The pack-n-play crib they brought us had many stains. I stopped looking at things in the room more closely for fear that I'd find worse. All 3 highchairs in the dining room had chunks of food covering them. We will never stay at this place again.

Ok for the money

Everything normal or ok, except for the rest room area. Clean but need to provide more towels so guests won't have to ask for more. No face wash, lotions, etc. Very cheap soap and shampoo. Towels are torned and small.

We had mold growing in our shower

The night we arrived, we asked the lady at the front desk to check around Wichita for a particular venue for us to go eat dinner and have a drink. She tried to find something for us, and went out of her way to do so. But everything else was pretty bad. There was mold growing in the shower. There were holes in the bed sheets. There had been work done on the walls and tiles and ceilings that were poorly completed. It looked as though a kid knocked holes in their parents walls and tried to fix it himself to cover it up. The pool area looked like the hotel was satisfied with knowing that at least once upon a time (maybe 25 years ago) the pool was nice. Weeds were growing everywhere. The furniture in the hotel was outdated and worn. And in each hall was the acrid smell of smoke. Their "bar" is open from 5-7pm. Pretty worthless. One redeeming quality was the breakfast. It was not only more food than we expected, but it tasted pretty good.

Frequent traveler completely appalled!

I travel a lot and I’m usually pretty lenient on the hotels I stay in but this one was so far and beyond overlooking. We booked it because the price was good and this site said it was 3-star. Here are a few things wrong with my room: > The wallpaper along the wall near the window had water damage and the paper fell off the wall. They pinned it back up with a paper clip! > All the other wall paper seams around the room were peeling back as well. > Blankets in the beds ( double queens) were completely different: one brown the other blue. and both very worn. > The caucking around the tub as spoted with black. > The maids forgot to fill the complimentary bath products when we checked in we had to call them and have them bring them up. They didn't apoligize. > The bedside lamps had broken shades on them. > There were cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. > The wiring connecting the phone was draped along the wall, and there was a wire exposed on the bedside lamp where it connected to the wall.

Tired Hotel

This hotel desperately needs a face lift. From the pictures on-line it looks like other Club House Inns where we have had good experiences--which is why we chose it The dusty plastic geraniums in the pots outside the front door were my first clue--and had it not been too late to cancel without losing my money I would have left. The hotel lobby smelled smoky when we entered to check in. The rooms and especially the bathroom were clean. But the couch in one of the two rooms we rented was so dirty and worn that we didn't even want to sit on it. There were stains on draperies, floor and carpet. We had no remote control with the television in our room. Although the breakfast was comparable in selection to those we've had at other Club House Inns, it was not well cooked. The French toast tasted as though it had been cooked the day before--rather tough. The biscuits were the same. I would not stay at this hotel again--and I will be suspect of other Club House Inns. When we checked out, we were not given a statement for our records, though we requested one--because we had booked on-line. That is the first time I've had THAT experience--though that may not be the fault of the hotel--it did add to the frustration with our stay.
