Wonderful Gem of a place

This was our first time ever traveling with the dog and it was one of the best vacations ever. First of all, the location of this hotel is incredible. It is located right on the beach. The dog beach is a blast. The large sandy beachfront and grassy knoll behind the patio rooms provides privacy but you can still hear the sound of the waves. Upstairs rooms have view of ocean. Our room was a family suite - highly recommend the upgrade - and was very clean and comfortable. With 2 teens we had plenty of room. It had a fridge and microwave and sink. The downstairs patio rooms were perfect. We set up our chairs and lounged and visited with the other families while the dogs just romped and played endlessly. The dog even got to hang at the pool area with us! They definitely gear themselves to travelers with dogs. I appreciated the doggy wash shower, the dog towels, treats, etc. The breakfast was a perfect start for each day. We walked the neighborhood and ate at some great spots with the dog in tow. The staff was so helpful and enthusiastic. We will be making this our go to spot from now on! It is such a relaxed, wonderful atmosphere. I can't believe how reasonable the room rates are for a truly oceanfront property. The value for the dollar can't be beat!
An absolute MUST stay for Dogs who love the beach!

This is our second visit to the Ocean Villa Inn and our dog convinced us to stay an extra night. She said just had to have one more night on her comfy day bed, one more run through the surf right out our door and one more trip to the resturants and dog park nearby before leaving her doggie paradise for the scorching desert back home.The tile floors in the rooms, the doggie wash on the side of the hotel and even the continental breakfast for we humans made it exceptionally convienient and comfortable for both dog and owners. Our pup gives it two big paws up!
Superb Pet Friendly Beach Motel

This is a very dog friendly motel. There is a fenced grass play yard connected to your room. The dog beach is one block away. The people beach is one block away. Turn left or turn right. Dining is within walking distance. The staff is friendly. The rooms clean. The motel is built for the dogs and for the people who love the dogs.

The rooms were set to open to a fenced dog play area which was grass and clean. The dogs met each other and so the residents met each other. We enjoyed the evening visiting with our neighbors. Just a block from the dog beach and people beach. We never started the car. We walked to wonderful resturants for people and people with dogs. This is a must for those of us who love to travel with our pets. The dog beach is clean and the dogs had a blast. Room were extremely clean.
Perfect hotel for taking your dogs to the dog beach!

We love Ocean Villa Inn! This was our second stay here and we will definitely return with our two dogs. It is so convenient to the dog beach, restaurants, and shopping that we actually parked our car for the whole stay and walked everywhere. Of course, if you do want to hop in the car, there are so many great attractions within very close driving distance. My husband and I and our two dogs (Dixie and Harley) HIGHLY recommend Ocean Villa Inn for a dog-gone great time!!
