nice hotel

First impression is lobby which was very nice. Overall room was clean although wife found hair in bathtub. Clean pool area but small pool. Disappointments for me was slow elevator and continental breakfast is over at 9:30.

We always stay at this hotel when we are in Minneapolis. This trip was to look at a few colleges for my younger daughter. Very convenient to get around Minneapolis, convenient to the Mall of America as well as Valley Fair. Super nice and helpful staff. Great free breakfast. The new restaurant is awesome and the avacados are fresh and yummy! The pool could be a little bigger, but the girls enjoyed it just fine! Thanks for a great stay!

We spent one night in the hotel while shopping at the Mall of America. The hotel provided a free shuttle bus to the mall which was very convinient. The stuff of the hotel (especially receptionist H) was really nice and helpful. Room was very clean and smelled nice. The only thing that bother us was the size of the bathroom. It was tiny!
Hotel had complementary breakfast. A verity of food was served at the buffet.
We would definitely stay at Country Inn again!!!!

I have stayed in Country Inn & Suites before and they are always homey and comfortable. Since the disappearance of a reasonably priced full service hotel, I was shocked and pleased to find they put in both a nice intimate bar and a fine dining restaurant. It was nice to relax with a drink with my fellow travelers, and have a very good meal without the need to go out searching. They still had the morning help yourself complimentary breakfast in another area, but this was a very nice surprise.
Great Hotel near Airport & Mall of America

Our main purpose for staying at this hotel was to be close to the aiport for our flight out the next morning. We stayed the rest of the vacation with relatives in Wisconsin, but didn't want to spend 2 hrs driving to the airport early in the morning.
This hotel offered a great location (about 10 mins to the airport) and a very comfortable, quiet room. The room itself was a bit on the small side but adequate for the two of us for one night. All the furnishings look like they were upgraded recently (feather-top beds, flat screen TV, etc.). It's very clean, too.
The service was very good and our stay went off without a ny issues. The free breakfast in the morning is good and they had "make them yourself" waffles. We needed to leave for the airport by about 6:15 (and the breakfast starts at 6:00) so we got something quick to eat - cereal, joice, toast) and were on our way.
I'd definitely recommend the hotel. Don't get it confused with the other Country Inn & Suites in Bloomington which I don't think is quite as nice.
