We Absolutely Loved the Almond Tree Inn!

This was a perfect place to stay in Key West. A little costlier because a special event was going on, but we can't say enough good things about our stay. The room was very nicely appointed, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was better than most in Key West. We enjoyed that the King rooms opened onto the pool area and had a porch with chairs and a table if you wanted to sit outside. The morning complimentary continental breakfast and happy hour from 5-7 p.m. were just an added bonus and offered more than we expected. Staff was great and very friendly. We liked the location because it was a bit down from the loud bar crowd on Duval, but it is a bit of a hike when you're tired in the evening. All in all ~ A+

We go to Key West once a year for a getaway while on vacation in Ft. Lauderdale. I read the other reviews of this hotel and thought "why not try it". THIS HOTEL IS THE BEST!! Right at the corner of Truman and Duval (what more could you want than to be this close to all the action of Duval street)? The rooms are VERY clean and VERY comfy and smelled great!!
They have a nice continental breakfast served in the morning. An OUTSTANDING happy hour for guests in the evening! That was so good, we missed the sunset celebration!! Friendly staff. Very helpfull! I am just upset that it took me this long to find it!! I will NEVER stay anywhere else!! Nice pool area with a waterfall. Hot Tub. Nice sitting area for your happy hour and breakfast. We had a ground level room - that has a patio with 2 chairs and a table - so we just sat there by the pool. I only hope they never CHANGE a thing! The have EVERYTHING right on!! It is small - maybe 25 room. No hassles - no crowds! You CAN NOT beat this place - especially for the PRICE! Affordable - that isnt something you hear much in Key West!
Put this on your "must do" list - stay there once - I think you will be MORE than pleased!!!

We stumbled upon this Gem as it has guest parking. Pulled into the parking area at 10 AM. They booked a room for us which was ready at 2 PM. The suite was top notch. The continental breakfast, the flowers in the suite, the happy hour, the pool, and the hot tub were excellent. Location is such that you can walk to everything but is still located in a quiet area away from the night life. My wife and I are already planning a return trip to Key West and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Hands down the best hotel in the keys if you?re looking for a laid-back atmosphere complete with a koi pond, waterfall, and tropical pool. The hotel also serves complementary breakfast and afternoon happy hour by the pool. The staff was very personable and knew of all the hot spots for fun and dining (thanks B and M). The Almond Tree is also in a great location. We walked to the beach, restaurants, historical sites, and Mallory Square so no need for your car. We have already booked our stay for the summer! Last of all, we forgot a few things and they went the extra mile to FedEx them back to us. WOW! That?s service. For the price, it?s a no brainier. I?m never staying anywhere else in the keys.
