Clean, neat, and in a convenient area-walk to shopping and a couple of very good restaurants. Hotel has a nice complimentary breakfast, pool, exercise room. Front desk people nice and helpful. Would stay again-and this is my 2nd time!
Very nice

This hotel was very clean, the staff was more than willing to help us with whatever we needed. The breakfast was actually better than expected. We would defintally stay here again.

Before going on this trip, I'd never heard of the Jameson chain. Given the chance, I will stay at Jameson Inns again.
The continental breakfast is on par with or better than others I have seen. The waffles are tasty ways to start the day. The general manager worked with us to get us extra nights in the hotel over a weekend. The room was clean, though I would have liked two queens instead of two double beds given our sleeping arrangements.
We took taxis into downtown Wilmington every night, and it is about a $10 ride one-way. That is about the only negative I can give the hotel; it isn't as close to downtown Wilmington as I was hoping. The taxis are all clean and the drivers are friendly though, so it wasn't that bad.
I didn't use it, but the fitness center consists of one multi-exercise weight machine, one treadmill and one stationary bike. The pool is good for hanging out in or around.
Only about 6 miles to Wrightsville Beach, which is fantastic.
Great place to stay a few nights

The room may be a bit small, but the hotel is new, clean and the staff is great. The location is excellent, near a bunch of restaurants, near major roads, easy beach access. You may be a bit cramped if you spend more than a few days but for a short getaway you can't beat this location. Plus they allow pets which was very important to me.

The hotel staff was very friendly. We asked for an extended checkout and there were glad to oblige with that request. The room was nice but the floor was very dirty, there was a big stain right by the sink as you walk in on the floor as if the carpet had never been cleaned. Other than that the bed was very comfy and everything else was pretty decent.
Also one thing to note, if you book through Online Travel Website be sure to call if you are arriving after 11PM or so b/c they were about to rebook my room had I not called to confirm, they didn't care you pay up front with Online Travel Website.
