The hotel was picked because it was right on the beach which was GREAT!
The rooms are old, but comfortable, with older furniture and bath. (Toilet was wobbly!)
The walls are not very sound proof so I got to hear my neighbors fight over their plans for the next day - so much for the entertainment!
The grill (restaurant) is outside near the beach which is nice (open air) - there is no room service, food was OK but menu was limited.
The parking is also limited since a lot of spaces are taken by customers who are there for the outside bar and grill but not staying at the hotel.
Housekeeping didn't happen one day at all. I think they forgot my room.

Great location, perfect views, awesome bar with great drinks and food right out on the beach. Rooms very comfortable and clean. except for sand "duh". The only complaint I had was i had trouble with my toaster and tv remote. I can live without toast and we didnt watch TV , However, I know that if I had asked each of these issues would have been taken care of. We will never stay anywhere else on south Padre. If you want fancy this is not it. If you want family fun right in the sand this is the place. Thank you Wanna Wanna, we will return.Mary Nelson

we had gone to south padre to get married and we had the best time at the wanna wanna club and the people were fantastic everyone there was very gracious and very accomodatint for our wedding on the beach right in front of the wanna wanna we plan to go back for our anniversary in september and while there look for property to build a home on we love the coast and the water and the beach. All the people in south padre are so laid back and so nice not like a rat race in the big city.

For an old motel we were quite pleased. If you are looking for a five star resort, this is NOT it. But it is on the beach and we could take our dogs. We will definitely come back, the location is great and the reasonable price price matched the humble rooms.

The room was horrible, it didn't look like they changed the sheets. They have a security light outside of every room and it shines into the rooms b.c the shades are broken. We actually checked out a day early and the manager would not give me a refund. I have a 2 year old who stayed up 1/ 2 the night because of the lights. I was very disappointed in the whole experience. I will not stay there again, nor recommend the business to anyone.
