The service was excellent. The parking garage was a little scary in a big car and parking was very expensive. Next time I wouldn't rent a car because everything is within walking distance except the wineries.

The Fifth Avenue Suites is a lovely hotel with a courteous staff. Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet. We were able to adjust the room temperature to suit us perfectly. Restaurant on the premises also served a delicious breakfast. I'd stay again.

We found this hotel to be a very nicely appointed property with good service including a nice resturant. The location is also very good.

Other than the only non smoking King suite available was located on an all smoking floor and that room smelled horrible (we moved to a queen suite and was compensated one night parking and a bottle of wine!) The location of the hotel and the service people at this place are go out of their way people... and the rooms are so wonderfully decorated.We had a wonderful time in Portland and we picked this place to stay because it is just high quality all the way around.
If only the rooms were as good as the service

The service was wonderful They brought my husband Pepto Bismol and water in the middle of the night at no charge. The location was questionable. Lots of homeless/sketchy people on the street. The room was extremely small. the walls are THIN!
