the room is horribly dirty. I put on my brand new socks and by just walking around trying to get dress .By the time I put my shoes on my brand new socks just turn black. I called for housekeeping .They fix the bed but didn't clean. They left me a note that unable to do housekeeping due to privacy which I didn't request. The blow dryer was broken.I called for another one it tokk them 45mins to get it to me.The aircondition ventilation was just full of dust. The bed is hard as a rock. It just look good in the picture but overall the hotel in nasty.

me and my friend were planning on going on a vacation to LA and picked the millennium biltmore because it was a 4 star hotel and we thought everything about would be great. when we got our room was way to small and we got a bigger room quickly and easily, the service was GREAT! the parking fee was way too high. the location was horrible, when you come out of the hotel you see alot of homeless people laying outside and a bunch of weirdos that say stuff to you while you walk by, there were no grocieriy stores around at all so we had to take the metro or bus to get around town which was a pain, a lot of weirdos on their too. me and my friend were scared to come out of the hotel. the fitness center was good, and the staff was great. the lobby was beautiful!!!!!! the bathrooms were ok, a little dirty. overall i WOULD recommend the hotel if it was in a better location, but because of the poeple around the hotel, i would definetly NOT recommend it for anyone, spacially a family who want to go to all the LA attractions, this hotel was sooo far away from all the attractions.!.

"Biltmore, a past glory"

"The old Biltmore stands still lovely in architecture, but needs better housekeeping management. Not a good sample of a great hotel in this department. "

Outdated Charm

Hotel would be great for hosting a wedding. Rooms are outdated, bathrooms are too small. If you are on a business trip make sure you have your laptop, wireless internet and a portable printer because the service center will not come cheap, other than that if you are a senior with easy living and love the simple things in life this is a great place for you.

Nice place, unexpected issues

I booked a room for one person with a King bed, and got a Queen bed, which was kind of soft and only had one light blanket. The television only worked one day; after that, all I could get was static. There is no Weather Channel, and the Concierge had no idea what the weather was. My key card expired on the second day, while I was down the hall fetching ice. Had to get security up to replace it, which took over an hour. Internet access in the wing I was in is via USB cable only, and costs $9.95 per 24-hour period. (To their creidt, there was a short USB cable in the desk drawer.) The fee was not mentioned on the hotel web site, and I did not notice it being mentioned on online travel. Printing a boarding pass, which is free at most hotels, cost $3.99! There was a small coffee maker in the room, but the supplies were not replenished once used, and there are only glasses and (initially) two foam cups to drink from. Parking costs $40.00 per day. There is no longer a hotel shuttle to the Music Center. I've enjoyed staying here in the past, but the service was good then and they didn't nickel and dime you to death with charging for every little thing. Plusses - lots of hot water and great water pressure. Pillows were good, firm but not solid and not too huge. Iron and ironing board in the room. Lots of towels. Didn't bother to check if the hairdryer worked.
